  • 1130 seedlings (native genotypes) planted on Grand Island
  • 24 seed reliquaries designed & distributed
  • 36 bee shelters constructed & given as gifts
  • 58,000 seeds (native genotypes) distributed to local citizens
  • 34 research projects completed
  • 74 cubic yards of garlic mustard and purple loosestrife removed
  • 18 butterfly houses designed & distributed
  • 1870 milkweed seeds distributed

What We Do

The Cedar Tree Institute continues environmental efforts alongside its on-the-ground work with Native American communities, youth and community volunteers.
